PEOPLE’S INDEPENDENT PARTY (PIP) COUNCILLORS’ HADLEIGH STREET STALL

Come and meet local PIP councillors and discuss matters of concern. We usually have a supply of pink sacks, kitchen waste bins and glass recycling bins on our stall.

Held on the 1st Saturday of every month except August but may change owing to extreme weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.

We are a friendly, creative group of all standards in painting and drawing. We cater for beginners and tuition is available if wanted. We are connected with the Art Ministry and our fees are used to support that charity’s activities. In return, we are able to display work at their annual exhibition in HOFS.

CASTLE POINT ASTRONOMY CLUB OPEN EVENING

Castle Point Astronomy Club is holding a public astronomy open evening where you can see some of the wonders of the universe through powerful telescopes. We will be showing the craters on the Moon, star clusters, nebulae and galaxies, together with whichever planets are on show, such as Mars, Jupiter and its moons, or Saturn with its rings.
